What is epic.Radio?

epic.Radio is a new online radio station that aims to bring you the best in online streaming radio with a massive variety of tunes. While we mainly focus on the online gaming community (through our in game plugin, letting you listen while you frag), we have listeners of all tastes. You just need an internet connection to tune in.

Who is epic.Radio?

How can I listen?

Is it all legal?

Of course, epic.Radio is fully licensed through PRS and PPL UK to ensure that the artists and composers of the music we play, get their fair share of royalties.

Can I get involved?

If you want to become a presenter on our station, then you can apply online. If we have any space in our programme and you are successful in our trials, you may be given your own show.

How is epic.Radio funded?

Mainly, we rely on the kind support of our listeners through donations. There are also some advertising opportunities for businesses to sell their products and services to our great online listener base.

Will you play my request or shoutout on air?

Possibly! You can shoutout or request using our web page. Alternatively you can use the !shoutout or !request commands in Quakenet IRC #epic.Radio or through our enabled servers. There's no guarantee that your shoutout or request will be played though!

What's all this !choon and !poon about?

It's our community's way of letting us know what songs they like and what they don't. If you're in IRC or our enabled servers, you can use !choon to tell us that you like the current track, and if you don't like it, then give it a !poon.
